Grade 4 & 5s almsgiving for Royal Children’s Hospital

At school we are learning about Lent. In lent we’re learning about almsgiving, everyone in Grade Four and Grade Five made posters, drawing books, chatter boxes and joke books for the children at the Royal Children’s Hospital. We want to work together to make all of them happy. Hope they love our creations.

In religion Grade 4 and Grade 5’s have been learning about Lent. In Lent something we should do is almsgive which means to give to someone. What we have done is make something fun to do e.g. Word search, dot to dot, crossword, board games, and more activities like that. Everyone did one of these activities and one of the teachers is going to take them to the Children’s hospital and give them to people who are sick, so they have something to do.
