Mary MacKillop Visits to Springtime

Each year members of the Mary MacKillop group make weekly visits to Springtime Nursing Home. Some students have shared their experiences from their first visits to Springtime and the Mary MacKillop group have also provided an update about their time at the nursing home.

Weekly Visits to Springtime Nursing Home

The Mary Mackillop group at Cana aims to follow the example of Saint Mary MacKillop. The members of the group focus on these words of Mary MacKillop, ‘Never see a need without doing something about it’.

Our weekly visit to Springtime Nursing Home encourages the children to practise the value of sharing their time and talent with the residents of our Parish community.

The residents are very friendly and they look forward to seeing us every Thursday.
