Divisional Athletics Carnival

On Tuesday 5th September, Cana had 7 students compete in the Keilor Division Athletics carnival held at Keilor Athletics Track. The 7 students qualified after achieving a top 2 finish at the Sydenham District Athletics carnival back in August. The 7 students gave it their all in their various events and we are so proud of each of them. Two students had stand out performances: Laila D’amico, winning the Girls 12/13 Hurdles event and Lucas Jose, coming 2nd in  the Boys 11 long jump. Both Laila and Lucas will now progress to the Western Metropolitan Regional Athletics Finals held on 17th October. We wish them the very best! Check out photos of the day below!
